1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using BuildTakeoff Pro (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
All quantities, dimensions, bills of materials (BOM), unit costs, and material estimates generated by BuildTakeoff Pro are intended strictly for preliminary planning, estimation, and budgeting purposes.
Actual job-site material requirements may vary significantly due to site soil conditions, ground slope, local building codes, contractor trade techniques, supplier board dimensions, and human error. You must always have your structural spans, rebar reinforcement schedules, and framing specifications verified by a licensed professional engineer (PE) or licensed general contractor before purchasing materials or starting construction.
2. Intellectual Property
The software, visual design, custom UI components, formulas, code, and documentation comprising BuildTakeoff Pro are protected by copyright, trademark, and proprietary rights. You may generate, download, and distribute takeoff PDF reports for your private projects or business bids, but you may not duplicate, reverse engineer, or scrape the core estimating software for commercial redistribution without prior written consent.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BuildTakeoff Pro, its developers, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, material purchase overages, shortages, structural failures, or project delays arising from your use of or reliance on our calculation models.
4. Third-Party Links & Supplier Pricing
Our Service displays links to third-party home improvement suppliers, merchants, and contractor networks. We do not control and are not responsible for the pricing, inventory, delivery, or quality of materials purchased from external retailers.
